A qualified Chartered Accountant who holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, Statistics and Finance from the University of Strathclyde, Max previously worked in the Corporate Tax team at PwC primarily acting for clients in the Large Corporate / Private Business markets. Following this, Max worked for the PwC London Deals Tax team where he focused on the tax analysis of refinancing programmes and future acquisitions.

At Cordovan, in addition to managing the review of inbound investment opportunities, Max also leads all aspects of deal management, including the coordination of deal legals, the appointment of due diligence providers and liaison with both buyside and sellside advisors.
